Tragic Accident in Tashkent: Truck Plunges into River, Passenger Killed
Tragedy struck on a road bridge in the Yukorichirchik district on June 9, at about 18:30, when a truck plunged into the Chirchik River in the Tashkent region. The incident, which resulted in the death of a passenger, involved a Howo truck being driven by a 23-year-old.

The regional traffic safety department reported that the truck accidentally fell off the highway bridge into the river, leading to the unfortunate fatality of the passenger. The driver, however, received immediate medical attention.
Social media videos suggested that the tragic event may have been the result of a race between drivers. In response to this, the Yukorichirchik district DIA has launched a criminal investigation into the matter.
