Tragic Death of Woman Who Fell From Bus With Open Door
Hatice Sabahi, a victim of a tragic accident in Adana, Turkey, sadly passed away despite efforts to save her at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine Balcalı Hospital. The incident occurred on April 22 when Sabahi fell from a bus with its door open while under the direction of driver Vedat K. on Balcalı District South Campus Road.
Sabahi lost her balance and fell through the open door while standing up to show her passenger card on the private public bus. She was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries.
Following the accident, Sabahi’s body was transferred to the hospital morgue. Meanwhile, the driver Vedat K. was detained and later released on condition of judicial control by the judgeship on duty.
This tragic event serves as a reminder of the importance of safety measures on public transportation and the need for strict regulations to prevent such accidents from happening in the future.
