Bodies of Two Girls Found in Issyk-Kul Region After Falling into River

The bodies of two girls who fell into Zhyrgalan river have been discovered in the Issyk-Kul region, according to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

On May 28, the body of the second 7-year-old girl was found approximately 500 meters from the river bank near a summer cottage in Mikhailovka village. Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations located the girl’s body and returned it to her relatives.

Earlier on May 25, the body of a drowned 6-year-old girl was found on the left bank of Zhyrgalan river, on a land plot of a summer cottage in Mikhailovka village, Tyup district.

The incident was reported on May 18, when it was discovered that two girls had fallen into the river near a dacha in Mikhailovka village. Search and rescue operations were immediately initiated.

The community is mourning the tragic loss of these young girls, and authorities are reminding the public to exercise caution around bodies of water, especially during the summer months.
