Tragic Drowning: Man Dies After Going into the Sea to Cool Off
A man identified as Fırat A. tragically disappeared while swimming in the rocky area of Kerpe Neighborhood. After his friends reported him missing, the Coast Guard Command and Kocaeli Water Accidents Prevention Center (KOSKEM) lifeguards immediately launched a search operation in the area.
Fortunately, Fırat A. was eventually located in the water by the Coast Guard Command teams and brought back to safety on their boat. He was then transferred to the health teams at Kefken Fishing Shelter for further medical assistance.
Despite the efforts of the medical staff at Kandıra State Hospital, Fırat A. could not be saved and succumbed to the incident. This tragic event serves as a reminder of the importance of water safety and the need for caution when engaging in water activities.
