Tragic Fire in Bursa Claims Lives of Family Members
A devastating fire broke out in a 2-storey building located on Çayır Street in the Yenişehir Çayır District of Bursa, claiming the lives of four family members. The fire, which occurred on the last floor of the building, was extinguished by firefighters in just one hour. However, the consequences were irreparable as Burak and Eylem Durmuş, as well as their children Sevginur and Efe Durmuş, lost their lives in the tragic incident.
The couple’s other child, Enes Durmuş, was found injured and was immediately transported to Yenişehir State Hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, the young ones, aged 3 months and 4 years, could not be saved and their bodies were taken to the morgue of Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute for further examination.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and trying to determine whether the parents were present in the house at the time of the incident. The entire community is mourning the loss of this family and offering their condolences to the loved ones left behind.
The tragic event serves as a reminder of the importance of fire safety measures and the need for vigilance in all households to prevent such heart-wrenching incidents from occurring.
