Tragedy Strikes as Dilara Ermanoğlu from Mardin Dies in Hotel Fire
The devastating fire that engulfed the 12-storey Grand Kartal hotel in Bolu Kartalkaya has claimed the lives of 66 individuals, including Dilara Ermanoğlu from Mardin. The news of Dilara’s untimely death was a heart-wrenching blow to her family, especially to her father, Ferman Ermanoğlu.
Upon receiving the heartbreaking news, Ferman immediately traveled to Bolu and anxiously waited outside the hospital where Dilara’s autopsy was being conducted. The grief and anguish of losing his daughter became too much for Ferman to bear, and he suffered a heart attack shortly afterwards. Thankfully, medical personnel were able to provide him with the necessary treatment.
Following the autopsy, it has been decided that Dilara Ermanoğlu will be laid to rest in the rural Toruntepe District of Mardin’s Artuklu district. The family, friends, and loved ones of Dilara are left mourning the loss of a bright young soul who was taken away too soon in this tragic incident.
