Turkish Cypriot businessman Asil Nadir has tragically passed away in the hospital in Nicosia, the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). The 83-year-old entrepreneur had been receiving treatment at Kolan British Hospital since 4 February and was in intensive care during the last period of his life. His wife, Nur Nadir, confirmed his death on her social media account.
According to hospital officials reached by AA correspondent, Nadir’s death occurred in the evening today, and the final death report has been prepared. Last week, Nadir faced criticism from the hospital for a blood donation.
