Tragic News: University Student Muaz Passes Away After 8 Days
A tragic accident in Çanakkale resulted in the untimely death of a university student after 8 days of fighting for his life. The incident took place on İsmetpaşa Mahallesi Setboyu Street on February 21 at around 19:00 when two motorcycles collided. The motorcycles, with plate numbers 67 ABL 612 and 54 AJN 112, were driven by Bertu Kalincik and Muaz Ali Hacimoğlu, respectively.
The collision left both drivers and another individual, Muhammet Gül, injured. The injured parties were quickly attended to by police and medical teams who arrived at the scene promptly. They were then transported to Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) Hospital for further medical assistance.
Muaz Ali Hacimoğlu, a student at ÇOMÜ’s Marine Technologies Vocational School Shipbuilding Program, was in critical condition and unfortunately succumbed to his injuries 8 days later. The news of his passing left his relatives devastated, and an investigation into the cause of the accident is currently ongoing.
