Tragic Update on Missing Person in Seyhan River – Latest News from Turkey

A man was found dead in the Seyhan River in Adana after reportedly jumping from a bridge and disappearing on Wednesday. The incident prompted health and police teams to be dispatched to the area after a report was made to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

According to reports, the man jumped into the water from the Yavuzlar Bridge in the Reşatbey District of the Central Seyhan district. Police divers from the Underwater Group Command conducted a search operation in the area, but were unable to locate the man after more than 2 hours of searching.

The search was interrupted due to dark weather conditions, but resumed in the early morning hours. Eventually, the man’s body was discovered in the water, covered with mud and moss, at a depth of 3 meters in the river. The body was identified as belonging to F.S., and was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy.

The circumstances surrounding the man’s death remain under investigation, as authorities work to determine the cause of this tragic incident.
