Transference of Simiram Recreation Center in Issyk-Kul Region to State Control by SCNS

Simiram Recreation Center in Issyk-Kul Returned to State Ownership

Located in Korumdu village in the Issyk-Kul region, the Simiram recreation center has been returned to the state, according to reports from the press center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Kyrgyzstan.

This transfer of ownership occurred as part of investigative and operational measures related to a criminal case involving money laundering and the financing of the organized criminal group led by Kamchybek Asanbek. The recreation center has now been transferred to the State Property Management Agency’s balance sheet at no cost.

The Simiram recreation center comprises buildings and structures covering a total area of 4,679 square meters, with an estimated value of 1,084,657 billion soms.

Ongoing operational measures are being carried out to identify properties obtained through criminal activities, including those associated with organized crime groups.

In August 2024, Kazakh businessman Yasynzhan Tairov, who is the owner of the Simiram recreation center, was placed on the wanted list for his involvement in financing the organized crime group led by Kamchybek Asanbek (Kamchy Kolbaev).

The situation continues to develop as authorities work to ensure that properties obtained through illicit means are identified and appropriate action is taken.
