Transformation of Rainfed Land in Mazar-Bulak
The Cabinet of Ministers in Kyrgyzstan has authorized the transformation of 11 hectares of rainfed arable land in Mazar-Bulak village for the construction of a processing industry enterprise and a trade and logistics center. This decision was signed by Akylbek Japarov, as stated in a decree issued by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The land plot, located in Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region, is privately owned by Cholponbai Ismailov. The lands will now be transferred from the category of “Agricultural Land” to the category of “Land of Industry, Transport, Communication, Energy, Defense and Other Purpose”.
The district state administration has been instructed to ensure the restoration of the area of lands, analyze unproductive lands, and introduce them into agricultural turnover. Additionally, they are tasked with compensating for losses of agricultural and forestry production and lost profits in accordance with the legislation.
This decision marks a significant step towards the development of the region’s industrial and trade infrastructure, and is expected to bring about positive economic impacts for the local community.
