“Transformers: Rise of the Monsters” Drops New Trailer!
Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for the upcoming movie “Transformers: Rise of the Monsters” at its CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas. The film takes place in the 1990s and follows an adventure that travels the world from Brooklyn to Peru. The movie introduces a brand new group of Transformers called the Maximals who join forces with the Autobots in their battle for Earth. The movie also introduces the Predacon and Terrorcon genres.
Anthony Ramos stars as Noah, a former military electronics expert living in Brooklyn and supporting his family. Dominque Fishback also stars as Elena, a museum artifact researcher. Inspired by “Beast Wars,” the voice cast includes Ron Perlman, Michelle Yeoh, Peter Dinklage, Pete Davidson, Michaela Jae Rodriguez and Peter Cullen.
The movie was written by Joby Harold, Darnell Metayer, Josh Peters, Erich Hoeber and Jon Hoeber, and directed by Steven Caple Jr. “Transformers: Rise of the Monsters” will be in theaters on June 9.
