
Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu Announces Launch of Türksat 6A on CNN Türk

Türksat 6A satellite launched into service by Turkey
Turkey’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, announced the launch of the Türksat 6A satellite today, in an interview with CNN Türk. Minister Uraloğlu highlighted the significance of this satellite, stating that it is one of the 11 countries capable of producing such advanced communication technology.
Türksat 6A has been developed using domestic and national resources, ensuring 100 percent safety for both civil and military communication. The satellite will also enhance the quality of TV broadcasting services. With the launch of Türksat 6A, Turkey aims to expand its reach to serve over 5 billion people in countries like India, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
Turkey has a history of delivering satellite communication services to 3.5 billion people worldwide. Now, with Türksat 6A, the country is set to continue its legacy of innovation in space technology. Minister Uraloğlu emphasized the importance of developing new satellites in Turkey, including low orbit satellites, to maintain a competitive edge in the global market.
In addition to satellite technology advancements, Turkey is also engaged in discussions with Qatar regarding the common use of orbital space. Social media platforms are exploring new features, such as parent permissions for users aged 13-16 and identity verification through facial recognition technology.
As Turkey continues to make strides in satellite technology and international partnerships, the country remains committed to providing support for countries like Syria. Minister Uraloğlu expressed Turkey’s goal of uplifting Syria through various forms of assistance and collaboration.
