CD Rescued After Getting Stuck Under Rock While Searching for Treasure in Forest
A man identified as CD found himself in a precarious situation while on a treasure hunting expedition with a friend in the forest area of Karaabdülbaki District. CD got stuck under a rock he was digging, prompting a swift response from various emergency services.
Upon receiving notification of the incident, the gendarmerie, fire brigade, Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), National Medical Rescue Team (UMKE), and medical teams rushed to the scene to assist. After approximately an hour of intense effort by the fire brigade, CD was successfully freed from under the rock and carried approximately 500 meters to receive medical attention.
Fortunately, it was reported that the injured person, who was transported to the hospital by ambulance, did not sustain any life-threatening injuries. The collaborative efforts of the emergency response teams resulted in a successful rescue operation, ensuring CD’s safety and well-being.
