Travel Time Reduced to 55 Minutes: Minister Uraloğlu Announces Good News

Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu has announced great news for travelers, stating that the travel time between Aydın and Denizli has been reduced to just 55 minutes. The official opening of the Aydın-Denizli Motorway will take place with the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on January 10.
The new motorway, with a total length of 163 kilometers, includes a 6-lane 140-kilometer main road and a 4-lane 23-kilometer connection road. Minister Uraloğlu emphasized the importance of the highway in strengthening the transportation network of the region, serving as a crucial link between the Aegean, Mediterranean, and Central Anatolia.
The highway passes through several districts and intersections, significantly reducing travel time from 1.5 to 2 hours to just 55 minutes. This will result in annual savings of 6.4 billion lira in time and 1 billion lira in fuel, totaling 7.4 billion lira. Additionally, the reduction in carbon emissions by 61 thousand tons will contribute to the protection of the environment.
The completion of the Aydın-Denizli Motorway marks a significant milestone in improving transportation infrastructure and connectivity in the region, benefiting both commercial and touristic traffic. Travelers can now enjoy a faster and more convenient journey between these two provinces thanks to this new development.
