President Erdoğan Attends Funeral of Respected Arabic Teacher Ahmet Kahraman
In a solemn ceremony held at the Imam Hatip High School in Istanbul, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan paid his respects to Ahmet Kahraman, a beloved Arabic teacher who recently passed away. The funeral took place following the noon prayer at the Marmara University Faculty of Theology Mosque.
During the ceremony, Kahraman’s family received condolences from attendees, with President Erdoğan offering his personal sympathies to the bereaved family. The atmosphere was filled with respect and remembrance as friends, family, and community leaders gathered to honor Kahraman’s contributions.
Following the funeral prayer, President Erdoğan joined others in lifting Kahraman’s coffin, symbolizing the community’s collective grief and solidarity. Attending the funeral alongside the President were Kahraman’s relatives, as well as Bilal Erdoğan, the son of the President, Istanbul Mufti Safi Arpagus, and AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Abdullah Ozdemir.
The event highlighted the deep respect held for educators within the community and underscored the impact of Kahraman’s life and work as an Arabic teacher.
