Trump Inaugurated as President – Breaking News

US President Donald Trump officially took office today after a 4-year break, as he was sworn in at a ceremony held in Congress. Trump, who won the presidential elections on November 5, 2024, defeated his Democratic rival Kamala Harris to become the 47th President of the United States. The ceremony, officiated by US Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, saw Trump making history once again.
Interestingly, Trump did not touch the Bible held by his wife, Melania Trump, while taking the oath. In his oath, Trump pledged to faithfully discharge the office of President and uphold the Constitution with all his might.
Former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton were also present at the ceremony, which was held indoors at Congress at Trump’s request due to the cold weather.
JD Vance was sworn in as the Vice President of the United States just before Trump took office. In his speech after the oath ceremony, Trump declared that the “golden age of the USA begins now,” emphasizing the need for honesty in facing the government’s challenges.
Trump also announced a National Emergency regarding the US-Mexico border, vowing to prevent illegal immigration and deport those individuals. Additionally, Trump stated that the official policy of the United States government is that there are only two genders, male and female.
With Trump back in office, the United States enters a new era under his leadership, marking the beginning of what he believes will be a prosperous time for the country.
