Turkcell Provides Relief Funds to Earthquake Victims
Turkcell completed donation payments to earthquake victims
Turkcell, one of Turkey’s leading mobile phone operators, has fulfilled its commitment to supporting the victims of the recent earthquakes in the country. Chairman of the Board of Directors, Şenol Kazancı, announced that the entire 3.5 billion TL donation pledged in the ‘Turkey One Heart’ campaign has been completed and transferred to the AFAD account.
This generous donation from Turkcell comes in the wake of the devastating earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, and the company has been actively involved in supporting the affected region through all of its brands.
In his statement, Chairman Şenol Kazancı expressed, “As of today, we have completed the payments of the donation we promised for the earthquake victims in the Turkey One Heart campaign. Thus, we have transferred the 3.5 billion TL donation we committed to the AFAD account.”
