President Aliyev Highlights the Importance of Azerbaijan-Turkey Energy Projects
President Ilham Aliyev recently emphasized the significance of the partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkey in implementing major energy projects. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Iğdır-Nakhchivan gas pipeline via video link, President Aliyev highlighted the transformative impact of projects such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum, and TANAP pipelines.
These energy projects have not only strengthened the ties between the two brotherly countries but have also played a pivotal role in reshaping the energy landscape of Eurasia. President Aliyev noted that the transportation of Azerbaijani gas through Turkey has contributed significantly to the energy security of multiple countries in the region.
