Turkey to embark on new phase in counterterrorism efforts

Türkiye to Launch New Phase in Fight Against Terrorism
Türkiye is gearing up to initiate a new phase in its ongoing battle against terrorism, as announced by Omer Celik, spokesperson for the country’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party).
Celik addressed journalists and stated, “We will see a new phase towards the goal of a terrorism-free Türkiye.” This reaffirms the government’s commitment to tackling the issue of terrorism head-on.
He emphasized that combating terrorism remains a top priority on Türkiye’s political agenda, highlighting the government’s unwavering dedication to safeguarding national security.
In addition to discussing terrorism, Celik also touched upon the country’s internal political climate. He underscored the importance of protecting Türkiye’s foreign policy, stating, “Targeting Türkiye’s foreign policy is targeting the nation’s achievements. The opposition has reached a level where they cannot understand this.”
These remarks indicate Türkiye’s determination to strengthen its position both domestically and on the international stage, as it continues its efforts to combat terrorism and preserve national security.
