Terrorist Linked to PKK/KCK Caught and Arrested in Turkey
Barı Iusubov, a known terrorist who was active in the Russian structure of the terrorist organization PKK/KCK, has been apprehended by security forces. According to reports from security sources, Iusubov was involved in propaganda activities on behalf of the terrorist organization in Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and even at the organization’s Makhmur Camp in Iraq.
It has been revealed that Iusubov maintained close relations with high-ranking members of the organization and took part in their actions. The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) had been monitoring Iusubov since 2020, and he was ultimately caught in Turkey through a successful joint operation by MİT and the Antalya Provincial Police Department.
Following his apprehension, Iusubov was handed over to the judicial authorities and subsequently arrested. He has since been transferred to a prison facility where he will await further legal proceedings. This latest development serves as a significant blow to the activities of the PKK/KCK organization and reinforces Turkey’s commitment to combatting terrorism both domestically and internationally.
