Turkish Foreign Minister Meets With Real Estate and Construction Industry Representative
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu recently had a meeting with representatives from the real estate and construction sectors at the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO). During the meeting, the industry’s situation and problems were discussed, and proposals for solutions were made. The ALTSO President Eray Erdem opened the meeting, highlighting the sector’s demands and conveying them to Minister Çavuşoğlu.
President Erdem thanked the Minister for his support and responsiveness to their requests. He also pointed out the problems they encountered with residence permits, the shortage of qualified personnel, and the difficulties with the pool system, among other industry issues. Additionally, he talked about the problems faced by the entertainment industry due to the pandemic-induced restrictions on music broadcasting.
Erdem asked for immediate action to be taken by the presidency to remedy these problems. He expressed confidence in the Minister’s support, stating that Alanya is a popular tourist destination with a lot to offer in terms of entertainment.
Minister Çavuşoğlu acknowledged the industry’s problems and assured the representatives that they are addressing them. He announced that the migration administration would move to a larger area and that the Land Registry would receive additional personnel. He added that they were also looking at other issues.
On the topic of music broadcasting, the Minister said that he was working with the Minister of Culture and Tourism and promised good news regarding the matter. He thanked President Erdem for his hospitality and valuable input.
Overall, the meeting was a positive step in working towards resolving problems in the real estate and construction sectors and improving the entertainment industry’s situation in Alanya.
