“Turkish Grand National Assembly Prepares for 28th Term”
The Grand National Assembly of Turkey is gearing up for its 28th term, which will begin following the elections on May 14. As part of the preparations, registration desks have been set up for the deputies who will be elected. Those who were not on the candidate lists for the previous term have been asked to vacate their rooms, and office vehicles allocated to senior members have been returned to the Assembly.
In addition, the Assembly Hall of Fame has been decorated with Turkish flags and TGNA pennants, and a new ‘Deputy’s Guide’ has been prepared for first-time elected officials. The guide provides information about social rights and will be left on the registration desks from May 15 onwards.
As the newly elected deputies arrive at the Assembly, they will be greeted by hosts at the three entrance gates before proceeding to the Hall of Honor to complete their registration process.
The preparations mark an important milestone for the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, as it seeks to continue its role in representing the interests of the Turkish people and promoting democratic values in the region.
