Turkish Health Minister meets with Albanian Minister of Health and Social Protection
Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca of Turkey and Albanian Minister of Health and Social Protection Albana Koçiu recently met to discuss important matters regarding healthcare cooperation between the two countries. Minister Koca took to social media to share the details of the meeting, expressing that they had a productive discussion.
During the meeting, it was agreed that the Fier Friendship Hospital in Albania, which has been providing healthcare services to Albanian citizens since April 2021, will continue its operations for another 5 years. This was a significant decision, highlighting the commitment of both countries to supporting each other in the healthcare sector.
In addition, discussions were initiated to organize the Health Business Forum and Fair in Tirana, covering the Balkan countries. This forum will serve as a platform to promote cooperation and exchange ideas in the field of healthcare.
Minister Koca emphasized that Turkey is fully prepared to engage in various forms of healthcare cooperation with Albania, reaffirming the strong bond and brotherly relationship between the two countries.
