An Emergency Button Placed for Medical Intervention in the Turkish Parliament
In a move to ensure the safety and well-being of Members of Parliament (MPs), an emergency button has been installed in the presidential council section of the Turkish Parliament. This button will allow for quick medical interventions in case of negative situations or health problems during parliamentary sessions.
If the deputy speaker of the assembly presiding over the session presses the emergency button, a medical team equipped with necessary equipment will reach the general assembly in approximately 1 minute. This innovative measure aims to provide immediate assistance to MPs in need.
Aside from the emergency button, other preparations are underway for the new legislative year, which is set to begin on October 1st. MPs will be seated in orange seats, following necessary maintenance and operation tests of key systems such as voting, roll call, and sound.
Furthermore, comprehensive cleaning and maintenance work has been carried out in the Hall of Honor, a prominent area for group meetings and general assembly sessions. The marbles of the Hall of Honor have been polished, and improvements have been made to lighting and ventilation systems.
In addition, general cleaning of facilities such as the nursery, daycare center, and kindergarten within the assembly premises has also been completed. These efforts aim to create a safe and conducive environment for parliamentary activities in the upcoming legislative year.
