President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Takes Strong Stance Against Israel’s Attacks on Gaza
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan recently made a statement at the Foundation Week mass opening and foundation human award ceremony in Beştepe, where he once again expressed his strong opposition to Israel’s attacks on Gaza. He emphasized the need to increase pressure on Israel to achieve a ceasefire, stating that Turkey had imposed export restrictions on 54 products and halted all exports and imports since last week. Erdoğan also announced Turkey’s decision to intervene in the genocide case, calling for accountability for those responsible for the violence that has claimed the lives of thousands of Palestinians.
In his speech, President Erdoğan highlighted the achievements of the General Directorate of Foundations in preserving the cultural heritage of Turkey. He commended the efforts to restore and protect foundation works and presented an award to businessman Bayram Kızılaslan for his philanthropic contributions, including his support for the reconstruction of the Malatya New Mosque.
Turkey’s commitment to providing aid to Gaza was also emphasized, with President Erdoğan noting that Turkey had sent the most aid to Gaza, totaling 50 thousand tons. He praised the efforts of Turkish foundations and voluntary organizations in supporting the Palestinian people during their time of need.
