A New Era in Technology: Microsoft and DTech Cloud Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

Following the strategic cooperation talks held between the two countries during President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s visit to Qatar, an important step has been taken for the development of technology in Turkey. Microsoft and DTech Cloud agreed on strategic cooperation in the field of cloud-based technologies. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır and Qatar Minister of Information and Communication Technologies Mohammed El Mannai attended the signing ceremony held at The Ritz Cartlon Hotel in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

DIGITAL BRIDGE WILL EXPAND
Minister Kacır expressed his excitement about witnessing the strategic cooperation between Microsoft and DTech Cloud. He stated that they signed a critical memorandum of understanding in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani in order to build a bridge between the two countries in the field of technology. He added that the cooperation aims to contribute to the digital transformation of Turkey, Qatar, and the surrounding region in the realms of new generation solutions, such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, hyperscale services, and analytics. The technological leadership of the region will be assumed as a result.

CLOUD FRIENDLY COUNTRY
The Minister of Information and Communication Technologies of Qatar, Mohammed Bin Ali Al Mannai, expressed his satisfaction with the strengthening of relations between Qatar and Turkey in the digital field. He highlighted the importance of the private sector in developing ties between the two countries. Al Mannai also emphasized the significance of implementing cloud technology and becoming a cloud-friendly country.

Moreover, Bereket Murat Oktay, founder of DTech Cloud, expressed his commitment to producing solutions that will be pioneers in the digital economy, thanks to the collaboration. With cloud-based artificial intelligence and big data analytics, they aim to make it easier for customers to achieve their digital transformation goals in the healthcare, energy, and production sectors. Following the speeches, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed between Microsoft Turkey and DTech Cloud.

The signing ceremony was attended by important figures from both countries, including the Turkey’s Ambassador to Qatar, Mehmet Mustafa Göksu, and the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) Digital Technologies Business Council President Dr. Recep Erdem Erkul. Microsoft Turkey General Manager Levent Özbilgin expressed his satisfaction in contributing to the digital transformation of both Turkey and neighboring countries through strategic collaborations. He also highlighted the pride of seeing companies in Turkey leading innovation.

Both Microsoft and DTech Cloud highlighted their plans to further develop the relationship in the digital field. The strategic cooperation agreement has indeed paved the way for strengthening the infrastructure of the digital economy and leading innovation in the region.
