Türkiye and TRNC Sign International Agreement
An international agreement between Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has been officially published in the Official Gazette after being signed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The agreement, titled “Protocol on the Development of Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus”, was signed in Nicosia on January 19.
This agreement aims to enhance bilateral commercial and economic relations between the two countries, ultimately benefitting the people of both nations. As part of the agreement, the “Türkiye-TRNC Commercial and Economic Cooperation Action Plan” has been included in the annex of the protocol.
The publication of this agreement signifies a commitment to strengthening ties and fostering cooperation between Türkiye and the TRNC. It is expected that this agreement will lead to increased trade and economic opportunities for both countries, contributing to the welfare and prosperity of their respective populations.
