Turkmen Airlines to Add Three New Routes in 2024
Turkmen Airlines has announced plans to expand its operating network in the first quarter of 2024 with the addition of three new routes. These new routes include the resumption of service to popular destinations.
According to AeroRoutes, a company specializing in updating and daily changes to airline schedules and networks, the following new routes will be added to the Turkmen Airlines network:
– Ashgabat – Abu Dhabi: Starting on January 5, 2024, the route will be served once a week by a Boeing 737-700.
– Ashgabat – Ho Chi Minh City: Beginning on March 5, 2024, the route will be served twice a week by a Boeing 777-200LR.
– Ashgabat – Milan: Flights to Milan’s Malpensa airport will commence on March 6, 2024, with one weekly flight operated by a Boeing 777-200LR.
Additionally, Turkmen Airlines recently resumed its Ashgabat – Moscow service/Domodedovo after a four-month break. The first flight was completed on December 18, 2023, and up to 10 flights per week are planned by February 2024. The airline has also added newly commissioned Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to its fleet, which entered regular service on December 22, 2023, on the Ashgabat– Bangkok route.
These new additions and resumptions are part of Turkmen Airlines’ efforts to enhance its connectivity and provide travelers with more options for reaching popular destinations. With the addition of these new routes, the airline aims to cater to the growing demand for travel to and from Turkmenistan.
