Turkmen Carpets and Petrochemical Products in Domestic and Foreign Markets

The State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan reported successful trading in petrochemical products, light industry goods, and Turkmen carpets on Friday, February 9. The trading involved both domestic and foreign markets, with several deals being concluded.

In the foreign market, entrepreneurs from Turkey engaged in deals with the State Concern Turkmennebit for the purchase of polypropylene and various types of engine oil. Similarly, representatives of business circles from Afghanistan and the British Virgin Islands struck a deal with Turkmennebit for the purchase of diesel fuel and aviation kerosene.

On the domestic front, Turkmen businessmen also engaged in deals with Turkmennebit for the purchase of polypropylene and road bitumen. Additionally, they bought various cotton yarn, cotton fabric, and handmade Turkmen carpets from the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan.

In total, 13 deals were concluded during the auction, amounting to a total of 21,948,596.02 manats and $5,721,524.
