Turkmen-Turkish High-Level Negotiations Result in Signing of Bilateral Documents

Following high-level negotiations between Turkmenistan and Turkey, a package of bilateral documents has been signed. President of Turkmenistan, during his official visit to Turkey, oversaw the signing ceremony of several important agreements.

Cooperation in the archival sector is also a priority, as seen in the protocol signed between the Main Archival Department under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the State Archive Department under the President of the Republic of Türkiye.

Moreover, an agreement has been reached between the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography and the Communications Department under the President of the Republic of Türkiye to enhance cooperation in the media field.

Education collaboration is also a key aspect of the bilateral relationship, as evident in the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiye.

Transport and information technologies are areas of mutual interest, as highlighted by the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye.

Both countries recognize the importance of plant protection and quarantine, leading to an agreement on cooperation in this field between the governments of Turkmenistan and Turkey.

Additionally, there is an agreement on cooperation in the cultural sector and an action plan for cooperation in the field of youth policy, supporting the Agreement on Cooperation between the governments of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye in the field of youth and sports.

Finally, an agreement on cooperation in meteorology has also been signed between the governments of Turkmenistan and Turkey.

These signed documents signify the commitment of Turkmenistan and Turkey to enhance their bilateral relations across various sectors. The agreements will contribute to strengthening economic, cultural, educational, and scientific ties between the two nations.
