Turkmenistan Inaugurates New Control and Analytical Center at State Customs Service
On January 20th, Turkmenistan celebrated the inauguration of a new Control and Analytical Center at the State Customs Service. This center is a key addition for the remote monitoring of customs facilities in real time on a large scale.
Specialists at the center will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing all customs operations taking place at various posts across the country. Equipped with modern hardware and software, the center enables online tracking of goods and cargo movement through customs control points. This real-time monitoring will enhance the efficiency of customs authorities in managing the flow of goods and vehicles across checkpoints.
Moreover, the Control and Analytical Center will facilitate interdepartmental cooperation and oversight of road, rail, and airport checkpoints, as well as customs facilities at airports. By utilizing advanced technologies, the center staff can collect, process, and analyze information centrally, thereby enhancing the analytical capabilities of law enforcement agencies.
The newly established center provides a conducive environment for round-the-clock monitoring, featuring essential amenities and technologies to support productive work by employees. Rest areas are also available, along with a high-tech hall for online meetings, conferences, and seminars.
The opening of this center marks another milestone in the modernization and automation of customs procedures in Turkmenistan. Additionally, as part of the inauguration event, 7 cars were ceremoniously presented to the State Customs Service on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
With the introduction of this innovative Control and Analytical Center, Turkmenistan is setting the stage for more efficient and streamlined customs operations, benefiting both the government and businesses engaged in international trade.
