Turkmenistan Delegation Visits Kyrgyz Republic to Learn Digitalization

A state delegation from Turkmenistan recently participated in a study visit to the Kyrgyz Republic to learn about digitalization efforts in public services. The visit, organized by UNDP and the Agency “Turkmenaragatnashyk” of Turkmenistan, aimed to explore the state policy of the Kyrgyz Republic in digitalization and e-governance.
During the visit, the Turkmen delegation met with various government agencies in the Kyrgyz Republic, including the Ministry of Digital Development, the Ministry of Health, and the State Agency for the Protection of Personal Data. Discussions centered around electronic data interchange systems, interagency document workflow systems, and the development of digital public services.
Of particular interest was the meeting at the State Enterprise “Tunduk,” where technical coordination in the implementation of e-governance systems and electronic data interchange systems was discussed. The delegation also participated in the International Plus-Forum “Digital Kyrgyzstan,” which addressed the application of digital and innovative technologies in government agencies, banks, and retail.
Overall, the study visit provided valuable insights for Turkmenistan in their efforts to enhance digitalization in public services. The exchange of ideas and experiences with Kyrgyz colleagues will inform future initiatives in Turkmenistan’s digital transformation.
