
Turkmenistan President’s Book ‘Youth is the Support of the Motherland’ Presented in Japanese

The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Turkmenistan recently hosted a presentation ceremony for the book “Youth is the Support of the Motherland” by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, which has been published in Japanese. The event, which took place on December 18, 2024, was attended by various dignitaries including representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomatic missions, international organizations, and the media.
During the ceremony, speeches were delivered by notable figures such as the Rector of the Institute of International Relations Gulshat Yusupova, Ambassador Atadurdy Bayramov, and Hiroyuki Tsubai from Itochu Corporation. The importance of translating the book into Japanese was emphasized, as it sheds light on the achievements of Turkmen youth in various spheres and provides insight into the country’s youth policy.
The speakers expressed confidence that the Japanese-speaking audience would gain a better understanding of Turkmenistan’s youth through this publication. The book also highlights the significance of the “Strategy of International Cooperation of the Youth of Turkmenistan for 2023-2030” in involving Turkmen youth in international events.
Participants unanimously agreed that the publication of President Berdimuhamedov’s book in Japanese signifies the strong friendship between Turkmenistan and Japan, further strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties between the two nations. Additionally, the book will serve as a valuable resource for Turkmen students and children learning the Japanese language.
Overall, the presentation of “Youth is the Support of the Motherland” in Japanese marks an important milestone in enhancing mutual understanding and cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan.
