
Turkmenistan Receives Two New Boeing Aircrafts in One Month

Turkmenistan Continues to Modernize Civil Aviation with Arrival of New Boeing 777-300ER
Turkmenistan is making significant strides in updating and enhancing its civil aviation sector as part of the National Program for the Development of the Industry until 2030. The latest development in this endeavor is the arrival of a new Boeing 777-300ER passenger airliner to the air fleet of Turkmenistan, as reported by the Turkmen Airlines agency.
This newly acquired Boeing 777-300ER is the second of two such aircraft purchased by Turkmenistan from the American company Boeing, on behalf of the country’s president. The first of the two airliners arrived in Ashgabat on December 4, 2023, marking a significant addition to Turkmenistan’s aviation capabilities.
The Boeing 777-300ER is renowned for its high level of economy and comfort, with the capacity to accommodate up to 368 passengers. This includes 40 seats in business class, 32 in premium economy, and 296 in economy class, catering to a wide range of travelers.
Equipped with two GE90-115BL2 engines, the Boeing 777-300ER has an impressive range, capable of flying a distance of 11,390 kilometers. Furthermore, it has the capacity to carry up to 40 tons of cargo on international flights, making it a versatile and reliable addition to Turkmenistan’s air fleet.
The arrival of the new Boeing 777-300ER underscores Turkmenistan’s commitment to modernizing and expanding its civil aviation industry, providing enhanced options for domestic and international travelers.
