Turkmenistan to Hold Auction of State Property
The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has announced that it will be organizing an auction to sell off state-owned properties. A total of 45 buildings, with various purposes, will be exhibited for potential buyers. The official announcement was published in the Turkmen press.
The properties that will be denationalized include buildings administered by the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Committee for Water Management, the agency “Turkmenautoulaglary”, the bank “Turkmenbashi”, the state agency for road construction management, the state association “Turkmenhaly”, the state concern “Turkmenhimiya”, as well as the mayors of Ashgabat, Dashoguz, Lebap, and Mary regions.
The auction is scheduled to take place on July 28, starting at 10:00, through the digital auction site for state property. Interested parties can register for the auction one hour before the trading begins. The entire process will be conducted in accordance with the law “On Denationalization and Privatization of State Property”.
