
Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality Highlighted at Antalya Diplomatic Forum

The Fourth Antalya Diplomatic Forum, held on April 11, 2025, saw the delegation of Turkmenistan participating in discussions surrounding the importance of the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan. Led by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimyradov, the delegation emphasized Turkmenistan’s commitment to positive neutrality in international relations.
The forum, held at the Nest Congress Center in Antalya, focused on the theme of “Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World.” Various sessions allowed participants to engage in dialogue on key issues in international cooperation.
During the session on “Cooperation, Digitalization, and Development,” H. Geldimyradov highlighted Turkmenistan’s efforts in promoting global peace and sustainable development. By championing initiatives such as the “International Year of Peace and Trust” in 2025, Turkmenistan has been recognized for its contributions to fostering peace and cooperation on a global scale.
The delegation also shed light on Turkmenistan’s initiatives to enhance sustainable transportation connectivity, promote global energy security, and transition to a circular economy. These efforts aim to create a more sustainable and prosperous future for all.
In addition to the forum discussions, a meeting took place between Deputy Chairman H. Geldimyradov and President of the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye, Erol Özvar. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in the field of science and higher education, with plans for joint educational activities between Turkmenistan and Türkiye in the future.
Overall, the participation of Turkmenistan in the Fourth Antalya Diplomatic Forum highlighted the country’s ongoing commitment to promoting peace, trust, and development on the international stage.
