Tragic Accident Claims Two Lives on Bahar Yaylası Road
A devastating accident occurred at around 10.30 a.m. on the Nagarev location of the Bahar Yaylası road in the district, resulting in the loss of two lives. The incident involved a TIR loaded with a construction machine, driven by Turan Köklü, who was heading from Dereiçi village to Bahar Yaylası. Unfortunately, the driver lost control of the steering wheel, causing the truck to roll down the road and into a ditch.
The truck fell from a considerable height, eventually coming to a stop on its side on the cliff. Tragically, both the truck driver, Turan Köklü, and the construction equipment operator, Hasan Zeki Yıldırım, lost their lives at the scene of the accident. Following a thorough investigation by the prosecutor, the bodies were taken to the hospital morgue. Additionally, the gendarmerie has launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the tragic accident.
