UK Firm to Construct Flexible Concrete Fabric Factory in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan – February 6, 2025

Kyrgyzstan has recently signed an agreement with the British company Concrete Canvas to construct a flexible concrete fabric plant. The plant is expected to have a capacity of at least 5 million square meters of concrete fabric per year, as reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, highlighted that this project exemplifies an effective partnership between the state and business. He stated, “After the launch of the plant, instead of 100 tons of cement, we can use only 5 tons of this material, while achieving the expected result and significantly increasing the speed of installation. Using this technology, we are keeping up with the times. We are confident that this project will become a catalyst for other investment initiatives.”

Flexible concrete fabric is considered an innovative material that speeds up installation processes and reduces environmental impact by combining the properties of concrete with flexibility.

This collaboration between Kyrgyzstan and Concrete Canvas is expected to bring about positive advancements in construction technology and inspire further investment initiatives in the region. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project.
