Minister Yumaklı Announces Date for 2024 Agricultural Support Payments
Farmers in Turkey can expect to receive their much-needed agricultural support payments soon, as Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı has revealed that 2 billion 900 million liras will be deposited into their accounts starting today.
In a statement, Minister Yumaklı highlighted the importance of these support payments for the agricultural sector, stating, “As of today, support payments of 2 billion 900 million liras will be deposited into the accounts of our producers.”
The breakdown of the agricultural support payments for 2024 is as follows:
– 1 billion 148 million 843 thousand 109 TL for Raw Milk support
– 600 million TL for Herbal Product Insurance support
– 110 million 424 thousand 58 TL for Animal Disease Compensation support
– 86 million 872 thousand 475 TL for Rural Development Investment support
– 14 million 442 thousand 653 TL for Cereal-Legume and Grain Corn support
– 1 million 292 thousand 825 TL for Certified Seed Use support
– 170 thousand 880 TL for Animal Gene Resources support
