Under-17 National Football Team Announces Squad
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced the European Championship Elite Tour candidate squad for the Under-17 National Football Team. The championship will be held in Georgia from March 20-26.
The selected players will gather at Trabzon Panagia Premier Hotel on Wednesday, March 13 at 18.00 to begin their preparations. The team will train in Trabzon until March 17 before heading to Georgia for the matches.
Turkey’s Under-17 team, also known as the Crescent-Stars, will face off against Denmark, Georgia, and Serbia in the UEFA European Under-17 Championship Elite Round. The top group leaders and runners-up will advance to the UEFA European Under-17 Championship Finals held between May 20 and June 5.
Coached by Uğur İnceman, the national team includes top talents like Mehmet Tuğra Yeşilyurt, Ömer Bircan Camcı, and Burak Alp Çakmak in goal, and Cumali Gürsel, Deniz Emre Ofli, and Boran Eligüzel in defense.
In the midfield and forward positions, players such as Özder Özcan, Mustafa Erhan Hekimoğlu, and Erdem Güleç will lead the team. With a mix of domestic and internationally based players, Turkey’s Under-17 team is poised for success in the Elite Round.
