Unlicensed Tractor Driver Fined for Ignoring “Stop” Warning – Breaking Turkey News
The police in Turgutlu district had to chase down a tractor driver who refused to stop when requested. The driver, identified as E.C., continued driving for approximately 20 minutes before being apprehended by the police.
Upon investigation, it was found that E.C. did not have a valid driver’s license, which led to his attempt to flee from the authorities. As a result, he was fined a total of 44 thousand liras for multiple offenses including driving without a license, endangering traffic safety, dangerous lane change, and failure to obey a stop warning.
E.C. was taken into custody and later transferred to the courthouse for further proceedings. The entire police pursuit was captured on a mobile phone camera.
