An investigation into corruption allegations involving Ekrem İmamoğlu, the mayor of Istanbul, has taken a new turn as files related to the arrest of two CHP deputies were sent to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Following the arrest of CHP deputies Ozgur Karabat and Turan Taskin Ozer, their files were separated and sent to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office for further investigation.
