EMU Prepares Campus Roads for 2024-2025 Academic Year

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) is gearing up for the start of the 2024-2025 Academic Year Fall Semester with preparations underway on its campus.

Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation and the Department of Highways, maintenance and repair work has commenced on the EMU campus to address any road deficiencies caused by winter rainfall.

In a statement released by EMU, the purpose of the project is to improve transportation for students and staff within the campus, ensure that roads comply with traffic regulations, and create a safe and comfortable learning environment.

EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç expressed his gratitude to Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı and Director of the Highways Department Kazım Kafaoğlu for their support and dedication to the project. He emphasized the importance of providing safe and convenient transportation within the campus as they prepare for the upcoming academic year.

Prof. Dr. Kılıç also extended his appreciation to the Highways Department and EMU staff who have been working diligently on the road maintenance project, assuring that all work will be completed before the start of the new academic year.
