Weather Forecast: Strong Winds and Thunderstorms Expected in Several Regions of Turkey
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a statement forecasting strong winds and thunderstorms in various regions of Turkey. According to the statement, inner Aegean, Central Anatolia, Lakes Region, as well as the inner parts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, can expect strong winds from the south and southwest directions tomorrow.
In the evening, the Eastern Black Sea is expected to experience strong wind disruptions, roof flying, dust storms, and the risk of stove and natural gas-related poisoning. Residents are advised to be cautious and careful during this time.
Additionally, strong thunderstorms and thunderstorms are expected in Edirne and Kırklareli tomorrow afternoon. A yellow warning has been issued for 26 cities including Afyonkarahisar, Ankara, Çankırı, Denizli, and Trabzon.
Furthermore, a temperature drop of 10 to 15 degrees is expected on Tuesday, with minus degrees forecasted for Ankara, Bolu, and Erzurum. The General Directorate of Meteorology warns of the possibility of agricultural frost due to the sudden decrease in temperatures.
For the highest temperatures of the day, Ankara is expected to reach 27 degrees, Istanbul 24 degrees, Izmir 28 degrees, Adana 30 degrees, Antalya 26 degrees, Samsun 28 degrees, Trabzon 24 degrees, Erzurum 17 degrees, and Diyarbakır 27 degrees.
