Uzbek Airlines Disrupted by Iranian Airspace Closure
Air Samarkand, an airline based in Uzbekistan, has recently announced changes to its flight routes to Jeddah due to the closure of Iranian airspace. This closure has forced the airline to restructure its routes, leading to potential delays and increased travel times for passengers.

Already, a delay was experienced with flight 9S 405 from Namangan to Jeddah, with the airline attributing it to factors beyond their control. It is anticipated that further delays may occur on flights 9S 406, 9S 407, and 9S 408 connecting Jeddah, Termez, and Samarkand.
The airline has acknowledged that the new, longer routes will result in extended flight times. However, Air Samarkand has assured passengers that all essential measures will be taken to ensure their comfort during these delays.
