Uzbek Citizens Detained for Gold Smuggling at Delhi Airport
Two Uzbek citizens arriving at Delhi airport from Dubai were apprehended by customs officers for attempting to smuggle gold bars into the country. The incident took place at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, where the suspects were found with five gold bars weighing a total of 5 kg, valued at 31.6 million rupees (approximately $380,000).
