The Embassy of Uzbekistan and Saraswati College of Music in Delhi Collaborate for Cultural Evening
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Delhi, in collaboration with Saraswati College of Music, organized a mesmerizing Uzbek-Indian cultural evening in the capital of India. The event showcased the rich musical and dance traditions of both nations, bringing together artists and performers to celebrate the cultural bond between Uzbekistan and India.
Saraswati College of Music, renowned for its specialized music education programs, played a key role in hosting the event. As one of the leading educational institutions in the country, the college offers courses in various musical instruments such as setar, tabla, flute, and cello, as well as training in vocals, dancing, and other art forms.
In commemoration of its centenary this year, the college has been fostering close ties with Uzbekistan. Collaborating with the Uzbek diplomatic mission, the college regularly organizes events to promote the musical heritage and values shared by the Uzbek and Indian peoples.
The cultural evening featured captivating performances of dance art by members of the Sabo dance troupe from Uzbekistan and a student from the Lal Bahadur Shastri Indian Cultural Center in Tashkent, Shabnam Bakhtiyorova. The audience was captivated by the displays of talent and artistry by both Uzbek and Indian artists, receiving enthusiastic applause.
Bal Ram Saini, the director of Saraswati College of Music, expressed his delight in organizing the cultural evening, emphasizing the strong support of Uzbekistan in promoting cultural exchanges between the two nations.
