Uzbek Product Supply Agreement Reached in Warsaw

An event was recently held at the Poland-Asia Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan. The event was part of the visit to Poland by a delegation from the Altyaryk district in the Fergana region, led by Governor Shamsiddin Turdaliev, and it involved representatives from the Polish business community.

Around 20 representatives from the business sectors of both Uzbekistan and Poland participated in the event. The forum was inaugurated by Janusz Piechociński, the President of the Poland-Asia Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In his address, he highlighted the growing trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Poland and Uzbekistan, especially the significant increase in bilateral trade volume in recent years. He also mentioned the potential for cooperation in external labor migration.

Uzbekistan’s Ambassador, Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev, discussed the promising areas for mutually beneficial partnerships and urged for further expansion of investment collaborations and industrial cooperation between the two countries. He stressed the potential for direct business ties between entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Poland.

Participants at the forum commended the extensive reforms underway in Uzbekistan and expressed their willingness to support the country’s modernization efforts.

Following the event, representatives from Fergana-based enterprises like “NURT FRUIT,” “Altiariq Eco Sanitary,” and “HAMZA EXPO ART TEXTILE” engaged in B2B negotiations with Polish companies such as “PPH EWA-BIS Sp z o.o.,” “G.D. International Poland Sp. o.o.,” and “Bombacio.” Agreements were reached for the export of textiles, leather goods, footwear, agricultural products, and food items to Poland.

The importance of establishing representative offices of Polish companies in Uzbekistan to address transport and logistics challenges was also emphasized. Furthermore, plans were made to organize a business mission to the Fergana region in August under the leadership of Janusz Piechociński, the President of the Poland-Asia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
