Uzbek Textile Workers Secure $20 Million Contracts in Warsaw

The delegation of Uzbekistan, made up of representatives from the Uztuqimachiliksanoat association and textile enterprises, recently participated in the annual international textile exhibition “Fast Textile 2023” in Warsaw. The event, held at the Ptak Warsaw Expo, brought together over 600 companies from 45 different countries.
Uzbekistan showcased its products at a national stand labeled “Made in Uzbekistan”, covering an impressive 400 square meters. The country’s presence at the exhibition highlights the growing demand for Uzbek textile products in Poland. It is worth noting that nearly half of textile products exported to EU countries originate from Poland, indicating a strong market for textiles in the region.
During the exhibition, Uzbek textile companies were able to secure export contracts worth over $20 million, marking a significant achievement for the country’s textile industry. In addition to their participation at the exhibition, the Uzbek delegation also took part in various events, including a business forum at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Warsaw and the opening of an Uzbek textile store in the city of Lodz.
The successful participation of Uzbekistan in “Fast Textile 2023” not only highlights the quality and appeal of Uzbek textile products but also opens up new opportunities for international trade and collaboration in the textile industry. This participation serves as a testament to the country’s growing presence and influence in the global textile market.
